I truthfully completed this site (or tried to complete it, depending on the situation) last night at around 4 or 5 in the morning. It has been so kicka55 making this website, even thought it's been kicking my a55 too.
[Side Note: Ms.Teacher, I will occasionally swear and will try to refrain from doing so, but it is in my nature to swear. If any swearing does occur, I will do you the favor of shrouding it with Leetspeak.
Example: ASS=A55
For those who didn't know, leetspeak, is an alternative alphabet for the English language that is used primarily on the Internet. It uses various combinations of ASCII characters to replace latinate letters, but I digress. Let's get beck o the topic at hand.]
I became interested in video-games well past their prime at a young age. I started with a Playstation 1 since I was about 4 years old. It wasn't mine. It was my uncles', whom I regularly visited. When I played, I loved seeing those awkward characters move into situations they would obviously get out of after sacrificing themselves thousands of times to the video-game gods. I always wanted a console of my own so I begged for one. Since I couldn't afford newer games systems, I had to work my way backwards. That is when I fell in love with the simplicity of older games. The electronic hum of the outdated hardware running inside the plastic enclosure was ecstasy. The rapid flowing vivid images, composed out of blocks, recreating themselves at a preset frame-rate, tried to give me seizures, but rather gave me a passion for 8-bit.
During the course of my administration of this site, I will be delving deeper into the Chiptune Underground. I will be teaching myself how to create Chiptune music and will upload songs as I progress. Hopefully I don't suck a55.
P.S. Blog is a horrible word.
